my chess project

This site last fiddled with: 7/5/12,

The notorious 'bitten-off-more-than-I-can-ever-chew' double nude painting
is once more being attacked with brushes and is making progress of a sort.
The bodies look a bit more human and I've even added the chess set in the corner.

It looks quite good on the wall of my club already!

I've written a play! (Is there no beginning to this man's talents?)
New Life/Nowe Zycie
an absurd comedy in two acts for three performers and lots of cardboard cutouts.
Click the title to see a pdf of the script.
If you want to perform it, get in touch. It may need work and editing,
but it's supposed to be the right length for the Edinburgh Fridge, sorry, Fringe.

And I'm now converting assorted texts for those with eReaders and Swindles. Watch this space.

Still tweeting what i'm eating.
By popular request I've added a
page of recipes
And as I do eat out more than I can afford, on the same page
I'm also reviewing what I'm chewing.
Your chance to cook and eat along!
Recent additions include a friendly kakapo
and Heston Blumincheek's recipe for fish finger butties!

Still hacking at the second copy of the chess set,
ripped off based on a design by Max Ernst,

The Cappuccino Project still stuck in 2011 ~
Phoebe of
Loudons on Fountainbridge was the only addition last year
though I could swear I took more; maybe I need to add a few here.
Found a great new quote/title for a sequel:
Chasing the Frothy Bubbles
from
The Stolen Child by WBYeats.
"To and fro we leap
 And chase the frothy bubbles
While the world is full of troubles
 And anxious in its sleep."
First 24 photos and poems still available in book form

A 48 page full-colour A6 booklet of all the pomes and pics
Click here to get your copy!

(To be honest, I'd recommend culture, the brilliant poems, paintings and thoughts of a born-again renaissance man.
— No?  Please yourselves.

The best writing (best being a relative term) is probably found in the Tortillas de Camarones
that describe my time in Cádiz, Spainland, 2000.

The other side has an up-to-date CV,
in case you're looking for a programmer, analyst, manager or all-round whizz-kid(?)

and a very useful set of pages if you need a guide to the basics of home computing ~

not to mention some meaningless waffle and a few crap jokes)

Unique visitors to this site since July 09 2005 —— Depressing, isn't it?
Come back soon, please. Tell your friends. I'm quite nice really …
